2020 in Review

A Message of Thanks from the UKF Staff:

The United for Kids Foundation wanted to thank you all for your commitment to help the children and support our mission during this difficult year. We would not have been able to make such a huge impact this year without all of your generous contributions and commitment to change.

This year has been challenging, but with the children being our guiding light, the United for Kids Foundation, has been able to adapt to the current state of the world. We have been able to distribute Covid-19 relief to more than 300 families across Nigeria through the months of April and May. The UKF has been able to sustain our vision of providing quality education by offering both mobile and online programs throughout the pandemic. Our ability to adapt to our new way of life was difficult, but our dedication to changing the lives of children has allowed us to continue along with your support.

As we look forward to the year ahead let us remind each other how the simple actions of others lead to life changing moments. At the UKF Sponsor Celebration 2020 we are able to hear from a graduating student on how the UKF changed his life. AA said that "before the UKF’s involvement in his education he felt irrelevant, but know he felt like he had a purpose." Let us always remember that every child has a purpose and it is our mission to help them unlock it.

While we wait to see what the future holds, let us continue “Healing Nigeria and indeed the world: one child, one heart, and one smile at a time." From all of us at the United for Kids Foundation have a Happy Holiday season and a wonderful New Year!
